The Essence Of The 504 Plan ADHD

People are born with different parents, and each newborn has a condition or state different from the next. Some have been affected by conditions transmitted from their parents and suffer the toll until it is corrected. Some condition is on the rise, whereby it makes the victims slow in what they undertake and poor in perceiving stimuli in the surroundings. A 504 plan ADHD has been formulated to protect them from prejudice.

This condition is genetic, and cannot be passed through any other means. It is, therefore, senseless for people to avoid the affected for the dread of getting infected too. The overall effect has been, prejudice and heavy discrimination of the suffering people, and this has made their social life the poorest.

When taken to school, the affected kids have it all rough. The kids are mistreated by fellow kids for who they are, a move that works a toll on their esteem and confidence a great deal. The law, therefore, prohibits this unfair treatment of the victims and calls upon all stakeholders to be on the forefront to uphold the rights of these individuals and show them the kindness they deserve.

There has been a widespread outcry from parents as their victim children have been denied entry into some institutions. This was devastating, demoralizing, and at the same time dehumanizing to the affected lot. However, after the plan was formulated, the institutions have been called upon to show leniency when dealing with these fellows, and offer them a decline if they do not meet merit requirements.

Teachers have been enlightened even more on how to handle the kids. Just like in a class of normal students there are slow as well as fast learners, and they all have to be treated according to their level of grasping contents. Same case applies to the ADHD victims. For the better of their case, it is recommended to offer them pictorial and video graphic materials for their easy comprehension.

They should be exposed to unique measures for assessment. As the others are comfortable in writing answers in a test, the affected can find this as a hurdle. Therefore, those who can write should be assessed through written tests while the rest are required to speak out their answers. What matters is the content they have, and not how they present it in the given condition.

Since prejudice was on the rise for the parents harboring these kids, some of them opted to remain silent about their affected children. This is a move to avoid getting wrongly profiled in the society, and as it is, you can see it affect the victim even more. The plan was to introduced to ensure the feelings and rights of such guardians are protected against any form of discrimination.

All parents are advised to take their little ones for testing. This makes it easier for the condition to be dealt with. If they are tested and proven to have the condition at an earlier age, treating and doing away with it will be much easier than when they get older. This move has even been boosted by the effectiveness created by the law for the victims.
