How To Make Your Own Inspirational Color Quotes Collection

By Mattie Knight

Random thoughts should not just be taken for granted. While they come in anytime, there is a good chance that many of them are actually good ideas about something. This is exactly why there are people who keep a pocket sized notebook and pen with them to make sure that they can immediately write down thoughts once they arrive.

But writing them is just one method. There are other ways you can employ to make sure that you remember them better. Having some inspirational color quotes is one of those methods. The idea is simple. You just choose your favorite quotes, and place them on some colored backgrounds.

Here, you are not just writing down statements in plain white paper. You are writing them down in colored background with designs according to how you like them. You have the option to this manually or through online. Now that there are online tools that allows you to do some editing, it should no longer be that difficult. Below are some things you can do to start personalizing your own collection.

Choose the occasion. This is something general and would greatly help if you are trying to collect some quotes for a specific event For example, if you would like encouragement for an upcoming exam that you are about to take, then narrowing down your choices that focus on encouragement will make your work faster.

Start selecting specific messages. This is where you begin making the formal list of what quotes would you like to keep. Normally, these are those statements that have impacted you in such way. You need not to abide with what other people said. What you can do is to read and see what appeals to you most.

Choose a good background. You can go for plain coloring or perhaps settle on backgrounds with a sort of image design on it. It will all depend on your preference. Just make sure that it does not overpower the color of the text. Ideally, you must go for those hues that directly reflects the mood of the message.

Conceptualize on the add on designs. Placing a colored background may already be enough. But if you want to add more such as icons and images to strengthen the messaging, then creating a concept is the first way to do this. If you do not know where to start, then a good method will be to check on some works online. There should be sample designs out there that could inspire you to create your own.

Provide the right attribution. Even if you are the ones who created the designs and all, you have to recognize that the message or the quote is not yours. Someone else said it. It could be a person who is in authority or some random person. Whoever it is, be sure to include the name of that entity. You do not want sporting and sharing the message and claiming it as your own when somebody else said it.

Individual words may not hold some sort of significance when taken individually. But when taken as a whole, they could undeniably make a huge impact. Keep those statements that create a positive impact on you. During rough times, those collection of quotes might just pull you through.
