When was the last time you checked your cholesterol levels? If it has been a while, perhaps you should get to your doctor right away. A healthy hearts artery walls are clear and clean, making blood circulation an easy process. However, when your cholesterol is too high this process becomes difficult. The decreasing or slowing down of the blood flow can be a dangerous situation. The danger stems from either the clogging or blockage of arteries. This can result in some serious conditions such as coronary disease and or a stroke. The stroke is formed by the plaque breaking off and clots being formed as a result. This is a highly serious condition that is not to be taken lightly. Its impact is a server. One can incur a heart attack the same way as they incurred the stroke. In order to remain healthy and free of this illness, you must also quit some other habits. Smoking and being inactive are things that draw you closer to having such problems. You need to exercise regularly. People are very quick to pass up an opportunity to get their blood flowing. You dont have to focus solely hard exercises and you dont have to do anything alone. You can start off easy and work your way up. You could even start by taking a walk for a couple of minutes in a day. Then once you have gotten used to it, get with a trainer to address those problem areas.

The tricky part about this condition is that it doesnt show symptoms until there has been significant damage. That is not okay, you cant possibly wait until you experience something life-threatening to pay attention. Rather go and check your cholesterol as often as you need to. Always know where you stand health-wise and dont take it for granted when you experience something strange.

You need to incorporate a great diet. Make sure your meals are balanced and that you stick to your eating plan. Always avoid saturated fats and eat fresh foods. Incorporate lean meat and fish in your diet. Consult your dietician about more changes to your diet.
