How To Know You Have Anger Management Problems

By Deborah Butler

When a situation makes you feel overwhelmed, sometimes you cannot stop yourself from letting out your emotions. Seeing someone so significant to you vanished can make you cry. The sight of success makes you want to jump in happiness. Furthermore, when hurt and pain is dominating you, you might either burst in tears or in fury. Those emotions are pretty normal for humans. That is why, you must not be ashamed if your tears began to fall out of sadness. However, too much of those feelings is not good. When your fury cannot is uncontrollable, you might need some anger management counseling Seattle.

All people have experienced feeling angry about certain things. When stress is taking over you and someone suddenly annoys you for fun, it would really cause you to yell at that someone out of anger. When your sibling eat your favourite cake that you bought yesterday, just seeing the sight of your sibling makes you livid. Needless to say, being angry is very normal because that is how you express yourself and tell someone how you really feel. That you do not like those things anymore.

Let us go back to the betrayal situation. Jenna broke her promise in which she would never tell the parents of Sheba about her gambling addiction. When Sheba figure it out, she was furious. If you are in the shoes of Sheba, how will you deal your anger? There are tons of ways to manage it. But for people with anger issues, they might certainly pick something that is harmful.

So in that situation, Sheba suddenly went to Jenna and began grabbing her hair and punch her while yelling some insults about her. That certainly describes a serious problem. However, some normal beings do that when they cannot hold it anymore. So what are the actual signs and symptoms to consider that a person is indeed some having some problems or issues?

The behaviour of Corrine shows how those people with anger issues behave. They do not know how to calm down when they feel aggravated and livid. And most of the time, the way they interact with others would usually be mixed with fury.

Another sign is their level of aggression. Out of rage, they would physically harm that person and show some aggressive behaviour like beating, punching, yelling or using objects to displace their anger. And it would turn worse once alcohol and drugs are involved. They might even harm themselves in frustration.

When that problem is not treated, it would certainly affect the social life of a person. Telling them to calm down is not the right option. Venting it out is not even good since it will just worsen the anger emotion.

The best way for that is to seek some medical and professional advice. They can take Anger Management Therapy. This therapy can be an individual or group counselling. Counsellors will help you on how to manage your anger by guiding you on controlling your impulse, giving you some relaxation and breathing strategies and also teach you some self-awareness.

Whenever you know someone or perhaps you, yourself, are also suffering, seek a professional help. Willingness is also needed. That way, you would know how to deal anger.
